This is truly an inspirational painting. The graveyard contains more rows than what is seen in this painting, however. Also, an Ohio Historical Marker is on the corner of the property. The former Friends (Quaker) Church looks exactly like this painting. My 3rd great grandfather was buried at this Friends (Quaker) cemetery. He was North Lewisburg's first appointed marshal in 1844. I am so pleased that this former church was saved and is now a historic point of interest for North Lewisburg as a branch of the Champaign County Public Library. Thank you for capturing the quiet simplicity of this structure that has been so well preserved.
