This is really part of a set of two paintings, fortunately both purchased by the same couple. The scene is imaginary, but reminded me of North Dakota, for some reason, even though bright red elevators are rare there. One painting looks up in 180 degrees, the other looks down in 180 degrees. In doing these, I tried to capture the feeling of the vertical panoramic, without sticking exactly to the architectural "mirror-image" constraint of the opposing painting.
